Overview
Hi-Rise Scaffolding rents and operates mast climbers and material hoists for construction sites across Winnipeg and Manitoba. A mast climber is a powered work platform riding up and down a single or twin vertical mast, moving workers and material together instead of running separate trips by ladder or crane. Platforms carry loads from 1,000 to 6,000 lbs depending on the mast and configuration, and the platform height adjusts on demand instead of being fixed like scaffolding.

Mast climbers earn their place on facade work, masonry, EIFS, and re-cladding jobs especially, where a crew needs to move both people and material up and down the same face repeatedly through the day. A scaffold or swing stage puts a platform in place and leaves it there. A mast climber travels, so the same platform serves floor two and floor twelve without rebuilding anything in between. We size the mast and platform to the load and the building during the quote, single mast for lighter, narrower runs, twin mast where the load or the platform width calls for it.
