Suspended swing stage platform against a high-rise facade

Swing Stages

Overview

Hi-Rise Scaffolding rents and operates suspended swing stages for high-rise work across Winnipeg and Manitoba, building envelope repair, window and glazing work, restoration, and anything else that needs safe, mobile access up a tall facade. A swing stage moves up and down the building instead of staying fixed like scaffolding, which makes it the faster, lower footprint option for jobs that don't need a worker on every level at once. COR certified crews handle rigging, operation, and daily inspection for the length of the job.

Swing stage or scaffolding is a real decision, not just a preference. Scaffolding stays up for the length of a job and puts a full platform at every level, useful when a crew needs to work several floors at once. A swing stage moves, one platform travels up and down the face of the building, which costs less to mobilize on a tall structure and clears out faster when the job's done. For most window, glazing, caulking, and envelope work on a mid-rise or high-rise building, swing stage is the more efficient call. We spec it during the quote based on the building and the scope, not a default.
